ON THE SAME PAGE:
I am currently on my seventh month as an official Villa student, and I must say that I’m quite proud of myself, considering all of the tests, quizzes, projects, and other miscellaneous things I’ve endured over these several months. I’VE BEEN INITIATED. But that’s not the point. The point I’m trying to make here is that I’ve realized something about Villa.
If you’re having a bad day, the chances are that everyone else is having a bad day as well. Like, if you wake up one day, and you forget your name tag, you forgot to study for that big English test you have that day, your hair is a mess, and you forgot fifty cents to buy a cookie, there’s always a pretty good chance that someone, or multiple people, is having the same problems. But on the positive side, if you are in a fantastic mood, and you feel well prepared for the test, remembered fifty cents, did all your homework, didn’t forget your nametag, etc., there is a good chance that other people feel the same way.
It’s always good to find your niche. It’s good to find the type of people that will join in with you if you burst out singing, right? I think it’s kind of uncommon at other schools to have this type of thing—people being on the same wavelength as one another. But at Villa, I think that everyone always eventually finds their way and the people that they can act stupid and sing obnoxiously around… and they’ll join right in. I mean I could be interpreting this all the wrong way, but it’s a good feeling when you know that someone is on the same page is you.
