LOOKING BACK AT FRESHMAN YEAR:
Wow! My Freshman year has flown by right before my eyes. It is almost to a close now, and it feels like just yesterday that I first walked through Villa’s front doors. This year has been an amazing experience for me. I have learned many new things and definitely enhanced my education. I still can’t believe that I am going to be a Sophomore in less than a month. It is very thrilling, but also sad, because it goes by with tremendous speed.
I am extremely happy with how well my Freshman year has gone. I’ve met many great girls and have come to understand myself a little better, as I discovered more of my abilities and talents. Most importantly, the friendships I’ve made are going to be lasting bonds. Villa is already like a second home to me. There are many excellent teachers, staff, and students here, and I am very happy to be a part of it all.
Like everyone starting high school, I was nervous at first, not knowing what to expect or how my Freshman year would evolve. But once I became used to a new schedule, I knew I had nothing to worry about. The year wasn’t too challenging or too easy either. It had its ups and downs, but overall, this year has been a blast. I was always told that your high school years are the fastest four years of your life, and I am starting to believe it! Before I know it, I’ll be a Senior walking out of Villa’s doors permanently -- until I come back to visit, of course!
This year was full of fun and lasting memories, and I am hoping that the next three years will be just as amazing.
