VILLA'S CREEPIEST NIGHT OF THE YEAR:
It’s that time of year again when the weather is getting colder, and the nights are getting spookier. During the Halloween season, there are countless parties and events taking place to celebrate. My favorite happens to be the Villa Harvest Dance.
This isn’t just any high school dance; it’s a costume dance. At this year’s Harvest Dance, almost everyone attended in costume. People were dressed as doughnuts, Skittles, tacos (it’s not like we like food or anything), and much more. Even the new Freshmen were impressive! I especially liked the group that was dressed as glowing fairies.
The Haunted House is another addition that makes this dance unlike any other. The Student Council creates a scary haunted house every year. The actors are our very own Student Council and Drama Club members. With creepy music, flashing strobe lights, and knowing that at any moment someone can pop out from anywhere, the Villa Haunted House is definitely the place to be!
Villa’s Harvest Dance is an unforgettable event! Every year it only gets better and better. Why stay home on a Saturday night when one of Villa’s best (and spookiest) events is taking place? I know I’m already thinking of costume ideas for next year, and I hope all of the other Villa girls are too!
